INSIGHT:
Why Expats Need Life Insurance
From IAHE provider Clements Worldwide, the leading provider of insurance solutions for expatriates
While some insurance policies, such as car insurance or health insurance, are mandatory by law, others are just as important even if they’re not a requirement. One of those which is often overlooked is international life insurance. A proper life insurance policy can provide important funds to ensure the future of your family.
Clements Term Life offers an exclusive policy for expats with borderless coverage and no medical underwriting up to USD 500,000. The policy is also completely portable, meaning that the policy will move with you if you relocate. Members of IAHGM and IAHE also benefit from exclusive discounts on the Clements Term Life policy.
Here’s how a life insurance policy could benefit you and your family:
Provide Financial Stability
The aftermath of a family tragedy can be a tough and uncertain period for all involved. It can take quite a long time for a family to fiscally settle after the death of the essential income earner.
With a life insurance policy, your family will have the funds needed to manage its finances during this unsettling time. This can also give your family the time needed to secure a stable wage, allow your family to stay in its present home, or supplant lost retirement funds.
Help Ensure a Bright Future for Your Children
As an expat you spend your time overseas in new and unfamiliar territories, meaning there is a higher risk something unforeseeable could happen. Obtaining a life insurance plan that meets the needs of you and your family can provide essential funds following a sudden tragedy.
One of the main concerns will no doubt be your children’s wellbeing. The right type of policy can help cover scholastic fees meaning your child’s education continues as planned, and can even cover weddings and other important events in your children’s lives.
*subject to full policy terms and conditions
**higher limits available (up to a maximum of USD 4,000,000), subject to medical underwriting
